Accelerated Economic and Industrial expansions, pollution of the environment, public concern about the
quality of air and growing regulatory and legislative requirements have resulted in a continued growth
of the multibillion dollar Air Pollution Control (APC) industry and heightened demand for increasingly
complex air pollution control systems.

Controlling industrial emission is not an easy task. Pollutants gasses and particles emitted in industrial
processes can flow in different rates, with different particle sizes and in high temperature.  A pollution
control system can be effective for cleaning medium-size dry dust particle, for example, but will not be
effective in dealing with fine particles captured in steam mixed with pollutant gases. As a result, the
industry is highly fragmented with numerous regional participants who provide customers with a limited
range of solutions to control different pollution sub-problems. Industrial plants invest millions of dollars
in integrating complicated pollution control systems and further spend a lot of money in to operate and
maintain these systems that usually operate in extreme industrial conditions.

There is a strong need in the Air Pollution Control (APC) market for a cost-effective pollution control
technology that can effectively deal with wide-range of pollutants, either solid or in gas form,
flow-rates and temperatures, and that can be operate under extreme conditions with low operational
and maintenance cost.

Vortex differentiates itself from competition in its ability to clean both pollutant gases and fine particles
in a very-efficient single system and in a cost-effective manner.
